Executive Profile

Technology leadership grounded in business results.

I am a technology executive, fractional CIO, entrepreneur, and business advisor with more than three decades of experience spanning enterprise infrastructure, telecommunications, digital transformation, cybersecurity, marketing, customer experience, vendor management, and multi-location operations.

My career has included leadership roles with AT&T, Adelphia Communications, Alltel, Telesystem, Marco's Pizza, Toledo Consulting, and Toledo Retail. I have led technical teams, advised ownership and executive leadership, negotiated complex vendor relationships, directed enterprise implementations, improved customer and operational performance, and built businesses and technology platforms from the ground up.

I am most effective where technology and business strategy intersect: translating complex issues into practical decisions, aligning investments with organizational goals, and leading execution from strategy through implementation.

Enterprise Leadership

Leading technology, operations, and transformation across complex organizations.

At Adelphia Communications, I recruited, trained, and managed a regional engineering organization responsible for backbone infrastructure, ISP operations, peering points, transport systems, field assets, and service continuity across eight states. The organization supported a network serving millions of cable-modem customers.

At AT&T, my responsibilities expanded from enterprise technical sales into consumer sales strategy, customer experience, alternate retail channels, product launch, and marketing. I supported enterprise accounts, exceeded annual sales quota, helped shape Ohio market strategy for the early U-verse rollout, and worked across retail, direct, online, and alternate sales channels.

Leadership Forged at Sea

Mission readiness turns leadership into a daily responsibility.

Serving aboard USS Mitscher placed me in a combat-ready environment where accountability, teamwork, technical proficiency, and disciplined execution were essential. Every system, decision, and individual contributed to the readiness and safety of the ship.

As an Interior Communications Electrician, I supported shipboard systems that connected people, equipment, and operations. That experience reinforced leadership principles that continue to guide my work today: understand the whole system, prepare thoroughly, communicate clearly, solve problems under pressure, and remain accountable for the outcome.

Surface Search & Rescue

Training, trust, and the willingness to act when others depend on you.

I completed U.S. Navy Surface Search and Rescue Swimmer training and served in that role aboard USS Mitscher. The training demanded physical endurance, sound judgment, teamwork, and the ability to remain composed in difficult conditions.

The graduation photograph represents more than completing a demanding course. It reflects the shared effort, trust, preparation, and personal responsibility required to become part of a team expected to respond when lives may depend on its performance.

Critical Infrastructure

Preparedness strengthens executive decision-making.

My work with InfraGard, business continuity, emergency communications, cybersecurity, and tabletop exercises broadened my perspective on organizational risk. It reinforced the importance of continuity planning, cross-functional coordination, executive communication, incident response, and recovery.
